Tekken 7 players do seem to have some control over the appearance of the lane they’re bowling on, judging from the footage from the Ultimate Tekken Bowl trailer. But it would’ve been nice to learn a bit more about Bandai Namco’s plans for Ultimate Tekken Bowl from the DLC’s first (and possibly only) trailer. Granted, most people don’t need to see much to understand what’s being delivered in the game’s first expansion. But the new Tekken 7 trailer features less than a minute of actual gameplay footage. The video is more than two minutes long and features an appearance from series producer Katsuhiro Harada.

But that’s exactly what’s happening when Ultimate Tekken Bowl hits PC and consoles later this summer. That said, most fans probably weren’t expecting the game’s first expansion to revive the Tekken Bowl mini-game introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament. We may have reached the end of the Mishima saga, but Bandai Namco still plans to support Tekken 7 now that the game is available on PC and consoles.
